The X-Pac Edition expandable backpacks are made with a 420d nylon outer layer laminated to a PTFE membrane, resulting in an exceptionally durable and waterproof barrier to the elements. In all other ways they are identical to the regular production versions. First and foremost the primary feature of these expandable backpacks are their ability to quickly double in size when needed for extra cargo carrying capacity.
